Amber Echoes — Privacy Policy

Amber Echoes is designed to keep your story private.

Data we collect

Amber Echoes does not collect personal data, usage data, diagnostics, identifiers, location, contacts, messages, photos, audio recordings, or advertising data.

The app does not use analytics, advertising, tracking technologies, or third-party SDKs that collect data. It does not require an account. It makes no network requests while you play — the only time it contacts anything is when you buy or restore the full story, and that request goes to Apple.

Data stored on your device

Your story progress, choices, typed story responses, chapter markers, and sound preference are stored locally inside the app’s private container on your device. This information is not transmitted to the developer.

You can delete story progress from Settings → Erase All Progress. Removing the app also removes its locally stored data, subject to the normal behavior of your device backups.

In-App Purchases

Amber Echoes offers one non-consumable In-App Purchase that unlocks the full story. Purchases are processed by Apple. The app receives transaction and entitlement status from Apple so it can unlock or restore the purchase. The developer does not receive your payment-card details.

Apple’s handling of purchase information is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy and your Apple Account settings.

Children

Amber Echoes is not directed to children under 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If the app’s data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy label will be updated before the relevant app version is released.
